Howard Ward Associates was established in 1977. After carrying out numerous commercial and industrial design projects, a strategic decision was taken during the 1980s to focus on providing a high quality structural engineers’ reporting service for domestic properties.

The firm gradually developed as demand for reports grew and it became firmly established as a highly professional practice which offered sound technical advice and practical solutions.

During the 1990s the business expanded steadily, and has continued to do so to the point where it now employs a multi-skilled team of highly qualified engineers and technicians who advise on all aspects of structural design as well as retaining the original structural engineers’ reporting service.

Reflecting the growth of the firm and the increasing scale and complexity of its workload, in April 2004 the business transferred to a limited liability partnership, Howard Ward Associates LLP.
